3rd Wk of September 2011

So, guys and gals...

What is life with toddlers?

Well it's exhausting, and pretty awesome. If you keep a sense of humor, it's basically living with comedians.

What did we do this third week of September?

All the basics plus a DANCE PARTY every-night! Shake! Shake! Shake!

Typical weeks activities..
Monday - Spanish immersion preschool, park, phonics work book, letter A crafts, girls saw their first Rainbow
Tuesday - Bookstore play area, lunch out, crafts after dinner, broken washing machine
Wednesday - Spanish immersion preschool, park, Lillian made a Noah's Ark book with mommy
Thursday - Preschool, cupcakes, Cider-mill, candy store (day with Grandma), after dinner crafts with mommy
Friday - Imaginative play, preschool phonics, coloring, painted tree in basement, raced with girls outside.

Now only, if I had pictures.. Plans for a fancy cell phone that takes "clear" pictures in the future.

Cheers!

Lets Get Acquainted!

Let me introduce myself, my name is Kathryn, I am a firefighter's wife and mom to two little girls.

Other then momming it, I like all things creative, and have a desire to keep learning and enjoy the company of those who are encouraging. I'd like to be encouraging to you.
I also like long walks on the beach, sunsets, and traveling. ;)'

My fashion is God’s wardrobe, Colossians chapter 3. Truthfully, I am lucky to get a shower in every day. God’s wardrobe of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness and love leaves me well dressed. These are the clothes I can afford.

Back to creative endeavors, mine include my online Lily Angels Shop, painting murals, decorating, gardening, theatre makeup, photography, and kids crafts. Themed weeks and days to entertain my little ones has been a thing. Plan on checking out some creative fun ideas here!

If you're creative, you have my attention! Can we be friends?

Anything that has to do with organization and checklists gets my attention. Got tips?

My six year college educational background is in art education, marketing, photography, along with a cosmetology license. My childhood roots stem in christian foundation.  Once, I considered myself an artist.  These days I consider myself in the season of motherhood as a chauffeur, teacher, cook, party planner, nurturer, and all that goes with it.

I would like to share recipes, kid crafts, decorating, party planning, crafts, and ramblings on here with you.

If you're a creative soul or parent hangout and browse around. Want to chat? Leave a comment or message me.

Let’s see where this thing goes.

Cheers!!! Your friend Kathryn

Disclaimer: My blogs will be completely random, expect lots of posts on motherhood and my children…
